My Saddle Brook Farm Hosts Family Fun Day

WALDEN, NY: My Saddle Brook Farm announces its first Horse-Around—A Family Fun Day, on Saturday, October 17th, rain or shine, from 10am-4pm at 163 Berea Road in Walden, NY.

Open free-of-charge to the public, the Horse-Around will include free pony rides, horse riding exhibitions, pet the new foal born in the spring, face painting, a petting zoo, free cider and donuts as well as surprises and giveaways throughout the day.

My Saddle Brook Farm is a family friendly, full service riding facility offering English & Western riding lessons and boarding. My Saddle Brook Farm maintains a variety of lesson horses so each student is guaranteed an appropriate mount.
In addition to the daily operations of the farm, owner/trainer Helen King is a committed ‘horse rescuer’ who has boarded and rehabilitated dozens of horses, who would have otherwise been destroyed. An avid animal protector, My Saddle Brook Farm is home to Porkchop, a rescued pot-belly pig, several dogs of all sizes, a cat and others who come through for food and care.
My Saddle Brook Farm is located on 21+ beautiful acres convenient to I84, I87 & Rt. 17K in Walden New York, just 60 miles from New York City.
The farm also hosts pony parties on site or on the grounds of your home, boarding, internships, classes and a warm, welcoming environment in which to learn.
