Delaware Township Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Annual Chicken B.B.Q.

DELAWARE TOWNSHIP, PA - There is no better way to celebrate the beginning of summer than to have a barbeque. Come on out to our annual Chicken B.B.Q. on Sunday, May 24, 2009, at the Delaware Township Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Building on Park Road in Dingmans Ferry from 12 noon to 7:00 p.m. or until sold out. These are extended hours in order to give everyone an opportunity to participate.

Join our friends and neighbors for a delicious B.B.Q. chicken meal. Come for the meal, stay for the music and friendship. Get to know the caring men and women who volunteer their time for your Ambulance Corps. A great time is in store for everybody.

The meal will consist of ½ B.B.Q. chicken, potatoes, corn or green beans, coleslaw, cranberry sauce, dinner roll, dessert and assorted beverages. Cost is still only $8.00 per meal. You may eat in or take out.

50/50’s are also being sold. This year, proceeds from the 50/50 will go to the Celeste Egidio Memorial Scholarship Fund. The winner will be chosen at the end of the day. You do not need to be present to win.

New volunteers are always welcome at D.T.V.A.C., so please ask for information on how you can get involved to help your community when you come for dinner. You will find volunteering to be a very rewarding experience.
