Workshop for Landowners Involved with Gas Leasing

Penn State Cooperative Extension will hold the workshop Fundamentals of Natural Gas Exploration and Leasing on Thursday, May 14, 2009 from 6:30 PM 9:00 PM at the Wallenpaupack Senior High School in Hawley, PA.

Experts will discuss what the Marcellus Shale is and why the interest in Marcellus Shale, how Marcellus gas drilling occurs and the intricacies, advantages, and disadvantages of signing a natural gas lease. This course is intended to inform you of the concerns you will need to address as a landowner considering a gas lease. This program is for

The cost of the workshop is $10.00.
