Registrations Still Being Accepted for Delaware River Sojourn - Early Bird Pricing Extended Until June 18
WEST TRENTON, N.J.– Interested paddlers are reminded that it is not too late to register for the 16th annual Delaware River Sojourn, which will be held from Sunday, June 20 through Saturday, June 26. Furthermore, early bird registration savings of $10/day has been extended for individuals registering by noon on June 18.

Pond Eddy Bridge repairs begin this week
DUNMORE, PA – Repair work on the Pond Eddy Bridge over the Delaware River, Pike County and New York State, will begin with mobilization on Wed. (6/9) on the New York side. Concrete work to reinforce the center pier begins Monday (6/14) and will continue for 2 weeks, Monday through Friday. SINGLE LANE RESTRICTION on Rte 97 on the upstream side of the bridge during concrete pumping operation 7am to 3pm daily. WATCH FOR STOPPED TRAFFIC. Steel work will be performed simultaneously.
RIVER TRAFFIC: Signage in the Delaware will alert boaters and rafters to the weekday construction.
Restrictions will be REMOVED for the weekend.
Contractor is HRI, Inc. and Tri-State Concrete is the subcontractor.

The 2010 Port Jervis Soap Box Derby is this Sunday, June 13th 2010 on Sussex Street in Port Jervis. Racing begins at 9am and continues throughout the day. Opening ceremonies will be held at approximately 12:30pm.

Tri-States Area Girl Scouts Visit PJVAC
Local Girl Scouts were given an informative and enjoyable tour of Port Jervis Volunteer Ambulance Corps recently. The young scouts really enjoyed their tour and the hospitality of the volunteer medical service/transport providers.
