Derek Donald, age 22, of Bushkill, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for 10 days to 6 months, pay a fine of $ 1,000.00 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On August 26, 2009, on Goldfinch Road, Bushkill Township, Donald drove his vehicle off the road, injuring one of his passengers. His blood alcohol level was .13%.
Russell Boyer, age 37, of Lake Hiawatha, NJ was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for 6 to 12 months, pay a fine of $ 500.00 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Possession of a Controlled Substance. On July 8, 2009 was pulled over in Matamoras Borough and found in possession of Heroin and Marihuana.
Laura Dunn, age 27, of Phoenix, AZ was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for 90 days to 5 years, pay a fine of $ 2,000.00 and had her driver’s license suspended for 18 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On April 27, 2008, Dunn drove her vehicle off the road into a utility pole on SR 390 in Palmyra Township. Her blood alcohol level was .213%.
Anthony Consulmagno, age 21, of Milford, PA was sentenced a year of probation, pay a fine of $ 500.00 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crimes of Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer, and two motor vehicle violations. On July 9, 2009, Consulmagno engaged a police officer in a high speed chase while driving a 2009 Yamaha Motorcycle on Interstate 84, in Blooming Grove Township. Consulmagno was did not have a valid license for the vehicle he was driving.
Deborah Freitag, age 39, of Tafton, PA was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 18 months to 3 years, and ordered to pay a fine of $ 500.00 for the crime of Aggravated Assault. On September 1, 2009, while being placed under arrest, punched, kicked and spit in the fact of a Pennsylvania State Trooper.
Sara Holzli, age 24, of Hawley, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for 12 days to 6 months, and ordered to pay a fine of $ 600.00 for two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. On April 13, 2009 was found in possession of 5 wax paper type baggies used for heroin, on SR 6 in Blooming Grove Township. In a separate incident on June 19, 2009, while being processed at the Pike County Jail in Blooming Grove Township, Holzli was found in possession of a Hypodermic needle that she tried to conceal in her vaginal area.
Michael Toth, age 28, of Dingmans Ferry, PA was sentence to the Pike County Jail for 6 to 12 months, pay a fine of $ 500.00 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Possession of a Controlled Substance. On April 22, 2009 the defendant was found in possession of six individual packets of heroin he had purchased from Patterson, NJ, and intended to use.
Brett Berry, age 37, of Shohola, PA was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility for 2 to 5 years, and ordered to pay a fine of $ 1,800.00 the crimes of Burglary and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. On July 11, 2009, Berry entered a home in Shohola Township by breaking a glass panel in the front door. Once Berry was in the home he stole a checkbook, driver’s license, social security cards, and prescription pill bottles from the residence. When Pennsylvania State Police went to interview Berry at his residence he was found in possession of needles, rolling papers, and other items classified as drug paraphernalia.
Dave McFarland, age 22, of Milford, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for 14 days to 18 months, pay a fine of $ 400.00 and ordered to pay restitution to Wal-Mart in the amount of $ 1,190.15 for the crime of Retail Theft. On November 23, 2006, McFarland entered the Wal-Mart in Westfall Township and took one Emachine Desk Top Computer without paying for it.
Robert Glasgow, age 43, of Matamoras, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for 90 days to 5 years, pay affine of $ 1,500.00 and had his driver’s license suspended for 18 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On May 24, 2009 in Matamoras Borough, Glasgow was found to be driving under the influence. He refused to consent to a blood alcohol test.
Lazaro Diaz, age 49, of Bushkill, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for 6 to 18 months, pay a fine of $ 1,500.00 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence, and Simple Assault. On March 10, 2009, Diaz drove his vehicle off the road into a stop sign in Pocono Mountain Lake Estates in Lehman Township. When security tried to initiate a traffic stop, Diaz exited his vehicle and pointed a .25 caliber Beretta at the security officer. His blood alcohol level was .25%.
Alvie McCane, age 52, of Lake Ariel, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for 6 months to 5 years, pay a fine of $ 1,500.00 and had his drivers license suspended for 18 months. On June 9, 2009, McCane was found to be driving under the influence on Rt 434 in Lackawaxen Township. McCane refused to consent to a blood alcohol test.
Kevin Sanchez, age 37, of Bushkill, PA was sentenced to a year of probation, and ordered to pay a fine of $ 1000.00 for the crime of Simple Assault. On July 27, 2009, Sanchez pushed a women to the ground a repeatedly punched her in the face, in Lehman Township.
Steven Babcock, age 43, of Dingmans Ferry, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for 90 days to 5 years, pay a fine of $ 1,500.00 and had his driver’s license suspended for 18 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On June 20, 2009, Babcock was stopped at a DUI Checkpoint, in Lehman Township and found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. His blood alcohol content was .159%.
Deidre Walker, age 22, of Port Jervis, NY was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for 6 to 23 months followed by two years of additional probation, pay a fine of $ 1,000.00 and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $ 1,500.00 for the crime of Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, and Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution. On November 14, 2005, Walker agreed with her co-defendant, that he would enter a home in Matamoras, PA to rob a man for money. Walker’s co-defendant pointed a firearm at the victim, and tied him to piping in his bathroom using his belt, took his wallet, containing $ 1,500.00, and another $ 5,000.00 from the residence. When Walker was interviewed by police she claimed she had no knowledge of the crime, when in-fact she did.
Dawn Ponce, age 38, of Montague, NJ was sentenced to a State Correctional Facility, in the State Intermediate Punishment Program for 7 to 24 months, followed by an additional year of probation for the crime of Acquisition of a Controlled Substance by Fraud. From November 28, 2008 to January 22, 2009 at the Wal-Mart Pharmacy in Westfall Township, Ponce obtained 120 oxcodone pills by forging the prescriptions of two doctors.
Rene Mejia, age 26, of Wharton, NJ was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for 3 to 6 months, pay a fine of $ 1,000.00 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On July 5, 2008, Mejia, was pulled over in Wild Acres Development, Delaware Township. His blood alcohol level was .18%.
