Local News
This year’s early summer days have brought plenty of rain to Pennsylvania’s Pike County regions of Matamoras, Milford, Westfall and their neighboring Tri-state communities.
On Thursday, June 25th, the rain brought additional problems to the area in the form of strong winds, hail, and resulting downed trees, electrical lines, and power outages. Crews from Westfall Volunteer Fire Department were among those who worked to remove trees, maintain traffic control, and assist with more than five hours of emergency, weather-related calls.
Scattered rain showers are reported to be expected to continue throughout this week.
