PIKE COUNTY, PA - Pike County District Attorney Ray Tonkin announced the Following criminal sentences were issued by Pike County President Judge Joseph F. Kameen:

Ian Rosenberg, age 43, of Hawley, PA, was sentenced to a state correctional facility for 3 to 6 years, pay a fine of $ 1,000.00, and ordered to pay restitution for the crimes of Identity Theft, Bad Check, Insurance Fraud and two counts of Forgery. On January 1, 2008 and February 12, 2008, Rosenberg, used the victims credit card to pay for his bills. Rosenberg also forged the signature of the victim on two checks. On December 12, 2007, Rosenberg was in an accident and reported the accident happened on a different day so his vehicle would be insured.

Robert Manter, age 41, of Albrightsville, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for 1 month and 90 days to 6 months followed by 6 months of probation, pay a fine of $ 1,100.00, and had his drivers license suspended for 1 year for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence, False Identification to Law Enforcement, and Driving Under License Suspension. On January 4, 2007, Manter, was pulled over in Green Township and gave a false license to State Police. His blood alcohol content was .98%.

Thomas Nicholas, age 20, of Butler, NJ was sentenced to a state correctional facility for 1 to 5 years, and pay a fine of $ 500.00 for the crime of Retail Theft. On January 20, 2009, Nicholas did enter the Wal-Mart in Westfall Township tried to leave with $ 219.68 worth of merchandise but was stopped at the exit.

Dorthea Gunderman, age 43, of Dingmans Ferry, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for 72 hours to 6 months, pay a fine of $ 1,025.00, and had her drivers license suspended for 1 year for the crime of Driving Under the Influence and Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic. On November 2, 2008 Gunderman, was pulled over in Delaware Township for straddling the yellow double line. Her blood alcohol content was .190%

Keith Candelet, age 23, of Philadelphia, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for 72 hours to 6 months plus 12 months of probation, pay a fine of $ 2,200.00 and had his drivers license suspended for 1 year for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence, Driving while Operating Privileges are Suspended or Revoked, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct. On October 28, 2008 Candelet was operating his truck under the influence of drugs while his license was suspended. While at the State Police Barracks Candelet became physically aggressive and refused cooperate with a State Police Trooper

Timothy Stefanik, age 19, of Milford, PA was sentenced to the Pike County Jail for 48 hours to 6 months, pay a fine of $ 1,000.00 and had his drivers license suspended for 1 year for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On July 3, 2008, Stefanik drove his vehicle off the road in Dingmans Township. His blood alcohol content was .137%.
